Get The Chance To Chat With Mike Iaconelli At Fishidy

Madison, WI- Fishidy, a map-based social network for anglers, will begin its first in a series of online chats hosted on Fishidy where the general public will be able to chat online, in real-time with BASS Elite Series angler and 2003 Bassmaster Classic champion, Mike Iaconelli. Amateur tournament anglers and weekend warriors alike will have the chance to pick the brain of one of the most successful and well-known pro anglers in the country. The first event held by Fishidy will be a free- for-all format where topics may include Ike's start to the tournament fishing season, how he uses Fishidy to help prepare for events, and what's new for anglers in 2013. The event will be held live at live.fishidy.com on Sunday, April 7th from 8pm-9pm ET.

"Fishidy's series of live chats with Ike will give anglers across the country a unique opportunity for Q&A in an online format that is free to access and shared in real-time," says Brian Jensen, President of Fishidy. "It's a great way to gain firsthand insight from a renowned bass fishing pro and at the same time learn a little bit more about how Fishidy can help the everyday angler. We're pumped to kick-off the series this weekend and we hope our community is just as excited!"

In an effort to showcase the features of its mobile app available on iTunes and Android, Fishidy has created the Braggin' Board fishing contest where contestants post photos of their best catches with the chance to win a prize pack from Fishidy each week. On top of that, all entrants into the competition are automatically entered into a national sweepstakes to win a VIP, all-expenses paid trip to the Toyota Texas Bass Classic on Lake Conroe, TX, with an opportunity to spend the day fishing with Mike Iaconelli!

Iaconelli's partnership with Fishidy gives members access to Ike's personal fishing log of hot spots on lakes he's fished across the country. "I've utilized fishing maps since I first started fishing and they continue to be a critical aspect of my tournament pre-planning," says Iaconelli. "I completely understand the importance of knowing exactly where to fish and how critical understanding locations are when you get out on the water. Fishidy is the coolest, most effective tool I've used to locate fish and track my experiences. I'm excited to be working with them - I want to make sure everyone knows about this. Fishidy's database of interactive fishing maps is comprehensive and valuable for anglers of all kinds!"
