Umatilla - Columbia River
Umatilla Lake is located at an elevation of 266 feet and is the border for Klickitat County. Umatilla is part of the Columbia River System between McNary Dam and John Day Dam.
Largemouth and smallmouth are available to the bass fisherman but the lake also features cut-throat trout, steelhead, chinook, coho and sockeye salmon, catfish, walleye, whitefish and sturgeon.

Report: I caught a 17 inch bass while fishing a plug going after walleye 3 miles below the john day dam. the fish was in a eddy near the shore. |
