Report: Fished South Fork, Middle Fork and North Fork. Threw 4"&6" worms on dartheads-NOTHING. Tried jigs or awhile-STILL NOTHING. Caught one ish 1 1/2lb in South Fork on shad colored spinnerbait in 40' o water. Caught one other ish 2lb in Middle Fork on rocky point near water all. Again in 35'-40' o water. Not exactly what you would call "blade conditions" but it's the only way we could get em. Talked to several others at ramp no one else did as well as we did. Better conditions are coming though!!! Tight Lines!! Todd

Report: We spent a lot o time ishing shallow with reaction baits. No takers. Only got ish when we went deeper and tight to the bottom. Most tournament anglers in the NewBass event reported catching ish deep on plastics.
      City: Fair Oaks

Tips: Fish are moving up and down based on environmental actors such as water level luctuations and weather changes. Be prepared to make major adjustments in your ishing approach even over the course o the same day.

Got a rip ish early on the meat wall and the rest came rom the Lime Saddle area on 6" worms rom 20-40t with the only keeper coming rom the 40t range. Sunday we ocused on the 40t range and caught close to 3 limits with 8 o them being over the slot in spots all over the lake. The colors that worked or us were reds, greens, browns, and ew on blue. I also caught a nice 2 pounder on a superspook early on sun. The weather was beautiul and got to see 3 deer cross the cove we were in on sunday, that was cool.

      Water Temp: 72-74

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: ished the entire labor day weekend at Oroville ished the morning and the evening rom 6am to 12pm then again at 5pm to 9pm. Saturday morning I ished the ork that heads to poe's dam the green bridge and stay right.I ound tHAT THE LAKE HAD DROPPED A TON since I had last been on it in June. I threw a buzzer and my buddy threw a spook, he popped one in the 2lb range. I stayed with the buzzer or about 35min put it down or a spitting image since its smaller and can be worked like a spook. We were able to start picking up more ish. The biggest was only weighed in at 2.25 and the smallest was 11 oz, we caught a totally o 5 ish that top water bite we only stuck with it till about 930 then threw it only by trees or signiicant structure. I then switched to a watermelton yamamoto jig on a 1/4oz wieght and began to get on them again my buddy threw a ox blood on a darter head same wieght and we were then keying in on the banks with the muddy line or turbulant water this held the bigger 1.5 up to 4lb ish they were on the bank I mean within a oot. The ish were either there or not they would hit it with in an second or two o the bait entering the water. I picked up ish out in to as deep as 25 eet with a split shoot and a morning dawn no chartruse. This pattern held threw to Sunday only with less o a top water bite and the size o ish got smaller.Sunday We ished the middle ork same technic's
      City: Granite Bay

Tips: As or a weekend bite thats not busy as labor day I would say that the ish should start going into a all bite pattern. I ishing a rock bank with the muddy water toss it in the areas that look good trees protruding rock this held the ish the spinner and crank I couldn't pick em up on it stay with light line and natural colors till the water temp drops into the 60's

Report: Fished Oro on Sat and Sun. Early morning rip ish are available, and even a ew on poppers. As the sun hits the water any light-hued worms or grubs will provide good numbers o ish.Jigs in brown or browm/purple take a ew nice ish worked throughcreek channels, as well. When the wind is blowing in the morning, the crank-bite is absolutely on ire, and will continue intothe aternoon as long as the wind blows. The crank ish areound tight to the bank at times, but most are caught >20 eeto, down around 10 eet deep.
      City: Santa Clara

Tips: I you're crankin, keep the boat way o the bank and make longcasts, ish are suspending way out.

      Water Temp: 70-75

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished Oroville or the irst time this weekend. On riday aternoon ishing was great. They were hammering everything I threw. Could see a lot o good ish in shallow water. Water was at 75 degrees. Through the weekend the ishing got worse. Water was dropping about a degree a day andished moved deeper and bites were less requent. Best consistent ish I ound were some three pound male spots that seemed to be guarding beds in about 18 eet o water around willows on lats.Caught them draging Black Zoom lizards.
      City: Brentwood

Tips: Best baits besides the lizards were lukes, white spinners, and cotton candy 4" curly tale worms. On Sunday ish were not biting. I stuck on a very small spinner (Single colorado blabe and a hook) to ish or blue gill. Smalls and spots hammered it.

Report: Went up to Pardee or a little un.(sorry I missed you "Hippie Mark" on sat. had to many Honey do's. Anyway, started out with a senko,(blue gill) and immediately got the big ish o the day, a very hot 5.03 largemouth. Next cast to a 3.3 largemouth. Man, it don't get any better than this. Missed a ew on a long point throwing top water. Went to an island nearby and got a nice 1.6 smallie. Let the area and went to another island in the main lake.Caught two 2.0 clones, largemouths dropshotting a small reaper. Went to another long point and to a 2.5 largemouth or a nice 14 pound limit by 8:30 am. Missed several more dropshotting during the morning, ended up boating seven ish. O the water by noon.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: My dad & I started ishing about 6:30 am, by 7:00 he already had 3 in the boat. All about 14 inches. In total we caught about 12 large mouth bass on Sat. Biggest that day were 17", 16.5" & 16" in length. Sunday was about the same with our biggest being 18''. This is a great lake or bass ishn, I just hope it doesn't get over crowded.
      City: Elk Grove

Tips: We were using Carolina rigged "green weenie" worms all day. Bass were sitting at the dropos anywhere rom 5 - 20" deep. Cast into shore and slowly drag worm along bottom until it drops o the ledge. Bass normally hit during the drop and they were hitting hard, no playing with the worm. FISH ON!

Report: First trip this year and not quite a grand slam. 3-SM best onone was 3.75, 2 LM best one at 4 even, and 2 trout best one atabout 5. Needed a catish or a grand slam. Great day orquality but not quantity, only 5 bass but all good ishFish were on points close to spawning areas. Had to beNEAR DEEP water, 25t plus. Got my irst ish on a dropshotrig, but can't say that is was skill, she had it beore ithit bottom. All ish, including trout were cought on tubebait, Basspros amber black and green lake, using a 1/8 oz,dart head but have the dart about 3/8 in. back rom the head o the tube. This makes the tube go in BIG circlesas it alls. Most ish had it beore it his bottom.
      City: stockton

Tips: Water to cold or any spawning activity but the are gettingclose
