      Water Temp: 55

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Got out first thing at opening and had three the first hour. Drop shotting from 20 to 50 feet. Two were about 2lbs one really fat 5lb'r. I was fishing real, real slow. Held boat in 50-60 feet of water and made long casts toward rocky bluffs at the main island. Did not get another fish until about 10:30. Another 2lb'r. From 10:30 to 11:30 or so I had three more all about the same size until about 12:30 I got a fat sow about six lbs. Fish were all deep and all on drop shotted 4" flat tail hand pours oxblood with a reddish flake. Last three fish were on the same beat up worm. Seven total fish, beautiful weather, calm water until I went home about 1pm.
      City: Camarillo

Tips: Deep and slow. I dont know what everybody else was doing but I fished deep & slow. Seemed to be a good pattern. Made long casts toward shore around the island with some casts taking up to 5 plus minutes to get back in the boat. Found 57 degree water on west side of the island and had better success but 55 degree most everywhere else. Good Luck!!!!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: On water @ 9:00AM out of Fleming meadows. Fished big Creek around the islands just inside the 5MPH buoys. Lots of fish on the graph but no grabs on swim baits or cranks. Finally graphed some fish in a saddle between 2 islands @40 feet. Took two in about 20 minutes--one 4.13 and the other 3.13. Lost another similar at the boat and missed one last fish before I had to leave @ 2:00 PM. All fish grabbed a silver crocodile spoon vertical jigged just off the bottom. Fish willing once found and proper technique dialed in. W/more time coud have loaded the boat.

Report: Fished for about 2 hours in the park area just to the east of the pontoons. Using flies, I got one bite from a little baby bass about 2.5 inches long. The weather was windy and when the wind stopped a speed boat came along and turned the water quite a bit. They were doing circles right in front of use so the water stayed very chppy the whole time. Urg.

      Water Temp: 72

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Hit the North end of the Lake, from Moscow Bay to Wolf Lodge Bay, Wolf Lodge Bay to the CDA Golf Course. Smallies are HOT right now. Fished from 5am-12pm, caught fish nearly every other cast. The trick? Texas Rigged Worms, weightless. Drop off of steep embankments. Smaller smallies are hitting from 8-10 feet of water column, 16"-22" smallies are around 25' on the deeper drop offs. Pumpkinseed and watermelon colors were doing great. Same trip caught 3 perch over 10" a 1.25 pound black crappie and a 3 pound pike who took a big ole bite out of a bab smallie I had on. Great trip. Watch the boat traffic though, jetskiers, and pleasure boats abound after 10am. Tourism season is nearly over... (Finally)
      City: Coeur d'Alene

Tips: Keep an eye out for large rocky points with drop-offs. Larger bass tend to key in on these points. Also keep an eye for vegetation to rocky drop offs. Key feeding zones for bass AND pike.
