Report: My last dozen or so trips on the lake with clients, pre fishing for tournaments and the tournaments themselves have been one of the best fall seasons I've seen on the lake in a while. This last week pre-fishing we had many limits over 10lbs. During the last A/C tournament on the 14th we ended with 10.98lb. A lot of paterns were working. Top water and rip baits were working in the morning, and plastics of all kinds were working throught the day. Everyday was a bit different so you had to be willing to change color or size or speed up or slow down your presentation to get a bite. |
Tips: A few weeks ago 240,000 coho salmon were planted. You can find them all over the lake. This is helping the top water and rip bait bite and also the swimbait bite. |

Report: Great day on the lake ! Saw 3 boats all day and fished the west and north forks and caught and released over 25 spots right on the banks. And there were no dinks.....all from 1 1/2 to 3 lbs. Easily had best 5 around 13 lbs. Few on topwater, but most on darterhead. Even caught rainbows on bass lures. |
Tips: Hint; Millions of trout all around.... |
