Turlock lake is located approximately 22 miles east of Modesto at an elevation of 250 feet.

The has a surface area of 3,500 feet with 27 miles of shoreline.

There is one campground located at the lake accommodating both tents and RV's to 27 feet; reservations recommended.

All boating is permitted as well as jet-skis, water-skiing, and swimming with improved launch facilities and a full service marina available.
