    Water Temp: 57-58

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Water continues to cool down. Water seemed more stained than previous outings. Weather was bright/sunny, zero wind. Morning lows around 30 degrees and daytime high of 75 degrees! WARM for December? Fishing seemed slow with the calm bright weather. Some smaller fish on small swimbaits and a few on dropshot. Some bait still around. Last tourney won with around 13lbs, but finesses seems to be the name of the game.

    Tips: Work steep walls

Report: The Bass Classics of Santa Clara Valley had a good time with rain, wind and clouds but good fishing. It was good in the morning on main lake steep rocky banks with everyone around us catching 1-2 fish the first hour on darthead worms and spider grubs in 20-40 ft of water. I used a spider grub and only had seven keepers all day but it was good enough for second place with 11.35 lbs. In the afternoon the fish moved back in the pockets and coves and into 10-20 ft of water. Ray Garcia won with 11.75 lbs and he was dragging a split shot worm on long slow tapering points.
    City: Fremont

Tips: Fish slow and hard and with a light weight I was using a 3/8 oz football head darthead on my spider grubs in 15-45 ft.

Report: Got fish early on shallow points in tablas. Spooks, buzzbaits, blades, and traps. After 9 caught two small fish on a drop shot. Bite died with the sun. Left at 1.

Tips: Catch fish early on reaction baits cause it gets tough later in the day. Fish shallow points didnt get bit by dam or other deep rocks.

Report: Fished the Main Lake no farther than Las Tables and only about half way up there. Most of the fish came on main lake point's in about 15'.

Darthead with a 6" Warmouth Robo worm worked for us and nice fish for here and the Lake look's great. Watch out for debris though there are whole tree's out there.

Report: Fishing was insane! We fished the Anglers Choice Team Tournament. Caught fish from blast off till check-in. Jigs, ripbait, and dropshot were our ticket. We caught at least 50 bass for the day and our best 5 went for 8.38lbs. Not a bad wt. for Naci.
    City: Visalia

Tips: Fish were out deeper for us...25-35ft.

Report: Fished Naci on Sunday during the CBC tourney. The cold front that moved int slowed the bite down, but the fish are there. Got 5 fish fora day's work, missed a few more. None of our fish were under a pound, best top out at about 2. The CBC guys had 7 fish limits pushing on 15lbs, so the bite is there.
    City: Santa Cruz

Tips: Jigs, dropshot, and darterhead did the trick today. Only got 1 fish in the deeper water, the rest of the fish came off the bank in 5-15 feet. Best fish was in 3' of water

Report: Went to naci on Sunday, the bite is off the hook right now. Started on the bank right across from the marina while I waited for the fog to lift. Caught about 15 fish in the first hour with the five biggest going just over 11 lbs. Caught the five biggest on a repo man (topwater) and spider jigs. After fog lifted switched to sex Shad colored robo worms on a drop shot rig and caught about 25 more before heading out around 1:00. Did catch some on the spider jig in the afternoon. Get out early, bigger fish seem to be active in the
    am.
    City: Holister

Tips: Fish are feeding heavily on Shad, find a point with bait and you can catch a fish on almost every cast. Fall bite at naci is on get out and have some fun.

Report: Fished the CBC at Nacimiento. Day after cloudy with sprinkles so north wind to 25 MPH and being the Friday of Memorial Day holiday lots of boats by noon, more like a zoo. No topwater in the morning so by 10:00 am with no fish I went to a YUM Houdini worm and scratched up a very small limit, had to measure a couple. Since there was not reaction bite being a bluebird windy day after a front I went to a YUM Gonzo grub on a 1/2 oz football jig and culled three of my squeekers to weigh a limit for 5.96 lbs. Lots of small fish but only about 12 keepers for the day. This is not a normal spring for Nacimiento, San Antonio or Santa Margarita. All these lakes are either full or 20 feet higher than the high water level the last 4 or 5 years. I think the combination of post spawn and alot of grass detiorating in the water has the ph off or something. The water is clear but has a sort of tea colored stain to it. A couple months ago I had 50 fish days when the fish were all over the flats and spawning but that's gone and the summer feed is just not on yet.
    City: Paso Robles

Tips: This is the best year for shad in a long time. Every pocket has bait in it. Some of it is over 3 inches long. The fish you catch are healthy and have little bellies on them so watch this lake in the next couple years. Fish finesse like drop shot, senko, texas rig worm or a small jig real slow on main lake points or pockets and you'll catch fish.

Report: Tri Valley Meet -- 39 boats on hand -- Foggy start but sun out and a warm 84o by weigh in. Last boat out as we pulled the 'calling boat' draw [payback from 1st out last time]. Hit the banks and coves and partner scored a crank fish on 2nd cast but it bailed off early. Moved off to some other coves near Snake Creek and scored a nice 16" on a Baby Bass Senko. Nothing hitting on cranks so picked up the dropshot rod. Scored - scored - scored. Five casts, 3 spots. Robo Oxblood red flake in the mudline was workin! Had a limit by 11:45 but could not cull any. Everything after 12 was too small. In with 6, and one floater [drats!] for a 7.48 on the day. One guys in weigh line had a beast large mouth in the sack and would go at least 5 if not a 6 pounder. Tied everything down and headed home. Still, a decent day.
    City: SM

Tips: A tip for Tri Valley fishers. Get a Black fish bag! ********************

All except one keeper was on dropshot in the mudlines close to banks. One jig fish was and a few on Chigger Craw shaky head

Report: SB Bass Club winner with just over 6# for 5 spots. Early morning bite with 12-14 " spots eating jigs, senkos, and worms...afternoon crank bite when wind picked up. Most fish were 12- 12 3/4"...biggest fish was 1 3/4 #. Very tough bite with drop in temperature more than 15 degrees from previous day

Tips: Rocky shorelines and main lake points were most productive. Topwater was nonexistent despite significant effort and plenty of boiling activity throughout the day.
