    Water Temp: 61-64

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Was a very windy but productive day. I got a late start (first cast was at 830) and within the first 10 minutes had 2 largemouth over 3lbs and a 2.5. The rest of the day was a grind, a lot of short fish on drop shot and texas rigged robo worms. Figured them out in the afternoon and caught another 15-18 largemouth from 1.5-4lbs all over the lake from 12-22' deep. Half way back the coves were most productive for me.
    City: Los Angeles, CA

Tips: 6 & 7" robo worms dropped shotted and texas rigged. Aarons Magic was the ticket in 12-22' of water. Lot's of post spawned fish.

Report: Well the Ventura County Bass Club had our Tourney here. I did not help my team, in fact I did not get a bite. Our team did get some jig fish i also heard that some of the others guys had a rough day. Jigs Jigs Jigs that all I heard. I guess we were in the wrong area. Pumpkin and watermelon red flake worked for us. Good Luck Chief
    City: Camarillo

Tips: Throw everything you got lol and yes I DID.
The best bite I got was at the hot dog stand by the on-ramp

Report: The weather was pretty windy and the bass bite was a little slow. We caught a few small ones on jigs and I did managed one good one on a crankbait. They did have a couple of trout plants and only the smaller bass seem to case baits.

Report: Went to Lake Pyramid to pre-fish for a tournament, we did manage to find a few bass but no real size. We used jigs and dropshots to catch the fish and we threw everything else with no luck. i switch gears and started throwing swim baits and hooked-up a couple of stripers. I went and threw by the dam with a long cast and lost one when the fish hit it.It was nice day, maybe two boats and clear skies.

    Water Temp: 58 Deg

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I fished Pyramid Friday April 24th .... a historical recap this would be,then. Conditions were mostly cloudy and cool with a good breeze coming from the dam (south to north). Ten or so trailers in the lot and one other bass boat at ramp (w/motor troubles). Water clear so I started throwing a white spinner bait. Got three small large mouth on three casts. Other bass boat limped back to ramp ... motor wouldn't run. All other fishing boats trolling for stripers in the middle of the lake. I was only bass boat out all day with no jet skiers or wakers !! Bite was really good around the shale bed rock walls and no where else. Wind really got gusty later .. hooded sweat shirt weather. Fished same s.b. all day and retied a couple times. Most fish were small one pounders but i got several about three pounds. Those smallmouth just luuuuuuuuuuvvvv to smack that spinner bait. Lots of fun. Boated 25 plus fish all told.

    Water Temp: 70

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Good bite up until this week, when everything died. Fished several trips that were good to excellent. Then Wednesday and Friday everything stopped biting. Conditions were good coming off several days of north winds. Bait was less concentrated than past weeks but water wasn't moving (maybe a reason?) and the moon phase was full. Only managed 5 dinks for the day.

Tips: Bites came on dropshots, topwaters and jerk baits. Crank bite has died altogether. Chartruse seemed to make a difference.

Report: The lake was not kind to the Ventura Bass Club we had 5 teams there and we only managed to get a total of 5 fish.top weight was 3.15. we went to all the hot spots and not so hot spots the fish had a bad case of lock-jaw. weather was great and no jet skies, no boaters and no bass.

    Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: This lake can be tricky. The lake was down so fishing can be tougher, but with no moon I thought we would do ok. We had 22 boats in our club and only 2 limits where brought in, nine pounds won it. For my son and I we took 6th with a whopping 2 fish at just over 3 lbs. The only thing I can say is the points in about 15-30 feet was the word of the day. No top water this day only had 2 blow ups and no hook ups. We caught our 2; 1 on dropshot (1 lb smallie),1 on a spoon in 25feet on a point (2 lb largy). With so much shad and baby bass to feed on you have to take what you can get.
    City: Bakersfield

Tips: Find steep point with little grass and throw everything you've got till you catch somthing. Spoons do work so watch your electronics. Keep your line wet.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I was second boat on the water. Tried top water first, caught 5 fish (LM) on 6 casts. Biggest one was 5.89 lbs. Tried a jerkbait over the grass and the smallies were all over it, big one 2.32. Got off the lake early around 10:30 because of the idiots on jet ski's. No boat patrol to control em.
    City: Palmdale

Tips: Try topwater early over the flats. Around 9:00 we started catching linesides and it was hard to catch anything else. Probably caught 10 Largemouths and 15 smallies along with around 35 Stripers. Really good morning.
