The new ALPS™ RA801L2 is the big brother of the popular ALPS™ RA701-L2. For those rod blanks that are a bit larger in diameter and require fl y reel seats with a larger inner diameter, we introduce the RA801L2. This is also perfect for spey rod builds. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and with two nuts that feature angled knurling and built in delrin washers to enable the fl y angler to tighten the reel to the seat with ease. The seat also comes with a nice trim ring to provide the professional clean look builders want between the reel seat and cork fi ghting butt. This seat is available in three beautiful hard anodized colors: black, silver, and shiny gun smoke. Fighting Butts are found on pg. 246.
