KJ Paddle Tail Worm Optimum Baits and Kahara Japan have joined forces to release their first collaboratively designed lure, the KJ Paddle Tail Worm. This uniquely designed paddle tail features a bulky head to increase the longevity of the plastic durability around the hook. The body profile was strategically designed with a shorter body length than what’s typically found on the market. This profile combined with a paddle thickness of 2mm, produces an irregular sliding action on the fall and a sharp darting action when twitched. It's the perfect weapon when you need your worm to produce that natural slow presentation or if you are looking for that quick reaction bite. The KJ Paddle tail are hand poured one at a time with a lightly salted back to add that initial crustacean crunchy texture. They also feature a crayfish scale pattern of indented spots throughout the body. These worms are ideal for fishing on a Texas Rig, as a jig trailer, on a Heavy Carolina setup, Heavy drop shot or even with the Neko Rig (Nail Weight).
