SVS Infinity Shimano’s newest innovation in brake system technology, SVS∞ provides easy-to-manage, consistent spool control and brake force. With brake weights that use ‘inner friction’ against the raceway during the cast, SVS∞ controls spool speed for precision casting especially when using lighter lures. The external adjustment knob provides for quick, precise adjustments for either the conditions or when you switch baits.
X-Ship X-Ship technology provides what’s needed for all-day casting and cranking. With X-Ship, there’s massive cranking power with a smooth, effortless retrieve, and when you do hook-up, there’s no loss of power under load due to the large diameter drive gear. X-Ship also provides a tremendous amount of freespool by eliminat- ing friction. By supporting the pinion gear with two AR-B bearings between the spool shaft, Shimano provides a reel that casts great distances – both fresh and saltwater anglers know that keeping their lure in the water longer is going to trigger more strikes.
