CAPTAIN KEVIN BEACH
Kevin was born and raised in Metrairie, Lousiana and has been fishing the Venice area for over 27 years. He has been a full-time guide for ten years and has worked as a First Mate on 112-foot boat along with Captaining boats up to 61-feet. Kevin has won his share of Tournaments, most notably with a 765-pound short-fin Mako shark that is the current Louisiana and Gulf of Mexico records. In 2006-2007 he was part of a team that conducted a comprehensive Yellowfin Tuna study in the Gulf of Mexico, they tagged more than 130 fish and tracked their movements and depth patterns along the Louisiana Coast. He is one of the captains of the “The Mexican Gulf Fishing Company”
CAPTAIN DANIEL ANDREWS
Born and raised in southwest Florida. He was introduced to saltwater fish- ing at a young age, fishing the barrier island beaches for snook and Red fish mostly with a fly rod. Today, tarpon are his primary target during the summer months. The rest of his time is spent on the shallow grass flats in search of snook and Red on light tackle and fly. The majority of his time is spent guiding his home waters of SW Florida, but greatly enjoys any oppor- tunity to travel to new waters. Daniel is a an avid fly tier and excellent teacher on the flats. He is also a successful tarpon and Red fish tournament angler, now including the IFA Red fish Series.
JOE MAHLER
Joe Mahler is an author, illustrator, and fly casting and fly tying instructor. An indus- try recognized fly tyer known for the versatile Straw Boss pattern, he has spent his life fly fishing for anything with a “tug” and teaching others to do the same. A pop- ular seminar speaker, Joe is both author and illustrator of the books”Essential Knots and Rigs for Trout” and “Essential Knots and Rigs for Saltwater” and his articles and illustrations appear regularly in Fly Fisherman and other national publications.
CAPTAIN GEORGE M. CAMPBELL, JR.
George Campbell, a native of Miami, has been fishing the waters of South Florida his entire life. A USCG licensed captain, he has taken his passion for fishing and turned it into a successful career as a Charter Boat Owner/ Operator. He has been the guest speaker at many fishing seminars, and has been on television shows including Big Water Adventures with Mark Davis, Hook the Future with Don Dingman, L.L. Bean Guide to the Outdoors with Bill Gorman and Saltwater Sportsman TV with John Brownlee.
