JON BAIOCCHI is a California licensed fly fishing guide, published author, educator, and tier. Jon serves on the Truckee Trout Unlimited Board of Directors. He pursued a career as a professional snowboarder, competing at a national level. In 1993 Jon focused entirely on fly fishing and conservation. “Mastering the Dry Fly” covers a brief history of the dry fly and those anglers who were involved from the beginning, simple to complex presentations, understanding rise forms, approaching water structure, plus tips and his favorite patterns .

MIKE COSTELLO ’s Saturday afternoon talk on Seasons of the Delta is packed with great photos and information from this full-time fly- fishing guide who wrote the book on these waters.

MARK DAUGHTERY cut his teeth working on the San Diego party

boats in the ‘70s. Offshore tackle specialist and avid lure collector, Mark started East Cape Guides in 2000 and authors The Baja Fish Blog. His talk about the Sea of Cortez will cover both fly and conventional techniques for Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo and Roosterfish.

DOUG OUELLETTE’ s talk is about Pyramid Lake, Nevada, home of the world’s largest Cutthroat Trout. He’ll cover several “retrieves” with shooting-head lines, floating lines with and without indicators, leader set-ups, fly patterns, and equipment (ladders).

DENNY RICKARDS has fished and guided anglers on western trophy waters for three decades. Many anglers consider Denny’s books and companion videos the stillwater fly-fishing bibles.

GREG VINCI has been a writer and photographer since 2010, placing material in many fly-fishing magazines. He also runs California-FlyFishing.com , is a signature tyer for Umpqua, and will be available to sign his book, Fly Fisher’s Guide to California , at the Fly Fishing Specialties booth.
