El Dorado Bass

We are a local club based in El Dorado County with members from all the surrounding areas. For 2009 we will hold 11 scheduled tournaments from January through October with the TOC on October 24th. In December we celebrate the year by having a Family Christmas Party which includes great food, gift exchange, and presentation of awards for "TOC Winner", "Angler of the Year" and the highly coveted watercolor portrait by artist Rod Brawley for "Biggest Fish". El Dorado Bass Club is a "team-draw" club where each tournament we match up different boaters and non-boaters. Tournaments are on Camanche, Delta, Folsom, New Hogan, Oroville, Pardee, Union Valley and a Spring and Fall 2-day event at Clear Lake. In the summer we host a "Family Fish & Picnic" at Lake Pardee, a "Night Turkey Shoot" at Lake Amador and a November Turkey Shoot at a location to be determined.

Our monthly meetings are on the last Tuesday of the month where we present awards for each tournament, share strategies & techniques, talk fishing and occasionally invite a speaker. Our focus is on friendly, fair fishing to make tournaments and meetings a enjoyable experience for all.
