through grass, hopping over rock piles, punching through weed mats, docks or submerged trees. Not anymore, because the NuJig will out perform each type of jig designed for specific situations every time, making other jigs obsolete. The NuJig is snag resistant and swims better than other swim jigs on the market today because NuJig’s head stays true. i know it’s hard to believe, so i’m encouraging you to try them out for yourself. Most tackle shops are holding out on carrying the NuJig for as long as they can because they know selling the NuJig would be debilitating to their business. Buy one and besides wanting different colors or weight sizes, you won’t need to buy another one.

Why stOp With jigs?

Nutech lures has put the same science and engineering into a spinnerbait, chatterbait (Crazy Jig), and blade bait (Whiz Jig). First was the Whiz Jig, a modified adaptation of a spinner style bait, which almost produces more hookups than a spinnerbait. Still using the NuJig head, they added a Colorado or willow blade to the end of the hook, like adding a trailer hook. The benefit to having the blade just off the hook is when bigger fish attack the blade; they will end up with a Nutech hook in their mouth as well. You can fish the Whiz Jig through more compact places than a spinnerbait; it is also more the size of most baitfish giving it a more natural look in the water. Since it has the NuJig head on it, it is weedless, and very effective. Being able to cast and reel this in various retrieval speeds and actions makes this bait a unique addition to any tackle box. also a new addition is the vibrating jig type bait, Nutech’s Crazy Jig also uses the NuJig head with a chatter-blade attached to the front. it runs true, and hooks fish with the same Nutech technology. The latest Nutech lures innovation is their spinnerbait, aka SpinJig. This thing is amazing. again, Bo didn’t take building this lure lightly, he went and got scientific on us and is going to blow your mind with his SpinJig and run true technology. This first model is a loose head version and the advantage to this is that you are fishing a spinnerbait with the NuJig head, which also allows you to change out the head for sizes, color and weight as necessary. loose head

spinnerbaits allows you to run the bait so extremely slow, you can easily run it at half the speed of solid head bait because the loose head allows the wire to float. The technology in the SpinJig is proven in the wire. The run true wire is on parallel lines, instead of the typical single angle plane and safety pin bend. ever notice your typical spinnerbait lies on its side and will spiral its way back to you, no matter what you do to try and fix it? The parallel lines force the jig to run straight, even if the wire gets bent. There is also no r-bend, but rather a coil bend, which adds more vibration to the SpinJig because it acts like a spring. The spring action or coil bend allows more flexibility in the wire while maintaining strength and durability. The SpinJig can fully compress down to get through cover, and spring back into shape. The SpinJig is designed with a shorter top wire, which doesn’t block the hook like traditional spinnerbaits today. take a spinnerbait from your box, bend the top wire down like a fish was biting it, and see how it interferes with the hook? The SpinJig has a shorter top wire allowing the NuJig to run free of interference from the blades, and the NuJig dual appendages keeps the jig snag proof. other spinnerbaits have to use a longer top wire, what Bo calls a hook blocker to try and make their lure weedless. Nutech also offers a Black Widow version of the SpinJig, which has an even shorter top wire, which gives the Colorado blade a wider orbit for more vibration. Bo James has had his hands in many innovations in the fishing industry longer than some of us have been alive, and he is sharing these works of art, engineering and science with us today. Fishermen in the forefront of our sport are the ones willing to take time to find ways to better themselves and their gear. Now knowing what Nutech lures brings to the tackle box, anyone without the physics of fishing on his or her side will no doubt get left behind.
