Trout, kokanee, baby bass and perch all have their place. In stocked rivers or lakes, I tend to go with light trout colors. If weed lines are priority, I generally switch to baby bass or darker perch patterns.

Moving over to Abu Garcia’s REVO Beast was one of the most comfortable changes I have made over the past year. By using braided main line, I have more than enough line capacity coupled with an ergonomic design of a low-profile reel.
