XXX-STRONG –Greatforreplacingtreblesonlargesaltwaterbaits. Made
with Zo-Wire™, the wire strength is stronger than other traditional high
carbonsteelwires. Thismeanssmallerhookwirediametersforbetter
penetrationandaSuperNeedlePointthatwillnotrolloverordull. These
single hooks are less damaging to fish when practicing hook and release, and
alsosaferforangler’swhenhandlingfishonboatdecks. Theseareperfect for handling the largest of Tuna (if the lure can hold up), and Giant Trevally. Features include Vacum-tinned finish for corrosion prevention, and Super Needle Point.
Similar to the ST-36 series but with a short shank and wider gaps. Shorter
shanks allow larger gapped hooks to be used without the fear of trebles fouling
oneachotherandbynatureofthedesign,shortshanksflexless. Thistreblealso
features 150° PPP (Premium Point Position – see illustration) that splits 2 hook
pointsout150°vs.thetypical120°betweenall3points. Openingthisgapallowsthe
hook points to be positioned slightly farther out from the hardbait body, making
forhookupsthatotherwisemightnothappen. ThistrebleincludesOwner’sSilky Gray frictionless finish that encourage superior hook penetration through gill plates andthetoughestpartsofthemouth. Otherfeaturesincluderoundbends,andSuper Needle Points.
ThepivotHeadwasdesignedtobeusedonswimbaits. Theycanbefishedindividually
orinmultiplesonumbrellarigs. Thecombinationofthe“bean”shapedheadandthe
split ring joint between the head and hook allow for an erratic swim pattern that drives
fishcrazy. TheweedlessversionisdesignedtobeTexasriggedwiththehookpointrid- ingonthetopofabait. Whenfishinginopenwaterconditions,theStraightshankver- sion,featuringCuttingPoint™,canbeusedforhigherhook-uprates. Theheadscomein a black matte finish and the hooks are black chrome.
