HMMM… THE CLASSIC

The stuff that’s not that great doesn’t stick in your mind and obviously I didn’t win the Classic; so, I don’t have a lot

of great highlights to share from that. But, just being in the Classic is a big deal and something that we work for all year.

My practice was slow. The weather had been warmer than expected and I think we missed the really good time on the lake. The cold fronts hit the week prior and the week of the event, knocking the water temps down; so, we had a challenging practice. I had a good couple of patterns; but I was scattered around the lake and didn’t have a good concentration of fish.

The Classic is really the only event of the year when you’re not fishing for points; so, you want to set yourself up
