Christmas List 1

for a bass angler

C

hristmas is here and by now, with Thanks- giving and all of the Christmas treats throughout the holiday season, we all probably could avoid food for quite a while. to help in the desire to stop thinking about food for a little while, i’ve decided to help come up with a Christmas list for a Bass angler. Santa is only hours away from coming to your house and delivering new toys for all of your girls and boys. Because all of you were extra good this year, i’ve decided to help you place the items on your list that you know you’re all going to want, along with the rationale you’ll need to convince the purchaser why you need them. i say that all of you were extra good, but i know that there were several of you that ran that five mph zone, didn’t wear your life jacket with the big motor on or culled a dead bass so that you wouldn’t have to lose the penalty at weigh-in. For those of you that participated in those sorts of crossing the line bass angler activities, you don’t need to worry about reading the rest of this list, because you’re getting only 1/8-ounce lead egg sinkers and some three- inch, straight-tailed worms in Scuppernong, Fried tomato and Motor oil Chartreuse in your stockings. But, for the rest of us angelic souls, let’s move on to the list for Santa Claus. For this time only, i authorize all of you to merely cut and paste this into a letter. Myself, and the editorial staff here at

Dear Christmas Shopper, From Dan O’Sullivan Re: Christmas List

Here is what I want for Christmas: lowrance hds Gen2 touch units - quantity - four . i will need two HdS Gen2 touch 12’s and two HdS Gen2 touch 7’s. The two 12’s will be mounted on heavy duty ram Mounts, one on the console and one at the bow. The two 7’s will be mounted in dash at the console and the other in the bow panel of the boat. We realize of course that i just invested close to $5,000 last year on new HdS Gen2 8’s. However, those units are going to be obsolete by March and they would be better served as marker buoys at that point, so we might as well get a jump on the rush and get my Christmas order in now. Besides, haven’t all of the big name pros proven to you that i need two fishfinders on each end of the boat by now?
