the red one

The moment someone sees my trolling motor cable, they instantly want one. It would be hard to find a bass fisherman who hasn’t experienced one of the most frustrating things that can happen on the water, a broken trolling motor cable. The ropes the manufacturers use will fail; it’s just a matter of time if you fish often. The “Red One” by Miller Built Products is so simple, but the fact that you will only have to buy it once makes it worth the initial investment. It’s easy to install and takes only a few minutes with the instructions they provide or just by looking at how it is constructed. Once installed, you will find that the trolling motor comes up easier and you no longer have to worry about the cable becoming weak from use. Before using this product, my MotorGuide Tour Edition required extra effort just to pull it up due to the way the standard cable was placed, afterwards it became much easier to bring it up and down. It will fit common Minn Kota models as well as the MotorGuide Tour Editions. The cable itself is made of stainless aircraft cable and is very strong and the handle is made of ABS plastic that is sturdy and built to last. If I had to pick one downside to the product it would be the cost. It can be purchased at some online retailers for just under $90, which may seem high to some; but the ease of use and the fact that it will last forever helps to justify the cost. You be the judge, if this could prevent losing time on the water due to a broken trolling motor cable, is it worth the cost?
