QUESTION #1

I hit a submerged rock and broke the “ears” off the puck transducer I had on my trolling motor. I have an HDS-9 Gen2 Touch. Should I get the same transducer and install it just like before or are there any better solutions to protect the transducer on my trolling motor?

ANSWER #1

You could change to a new Lowrance transducer. The new transducers have better components than the older transducers you may have from older LCX
