Sight fishing for bedded Bass can be frustrating. It takes a lot of patience for it to pay off. You may throw a bait for an hour and still get no reaction. When you throw a bait into the nest, the fish will swim away and when you pull the bait out of the nest, the fish will come back. That fish is catchable since it is guarding the nest.
I prefer using Grubs and Gitsits that are white or chartreuse because they
are visible and when
If you're planning to go after bedded fish during a tournament, locate your
spawn beds on practice days Most of the time you will catch the male first which is much easier than catching the female. I dislike going after bedded fish unless it is a tournament. It's much better to "Catch and Release".
