"Striped Bass"
If you haven't got in on the fall
striper boil season, now is the time.
Just a few more weeks of good fall
season fishing left. Best baits are:
Anchovies or Squid for plenty of smaller eating
size limits. White Clatter shads, pointer 128s,
Osaka & Kobes with feather tails, white sassy shads
with 3/4 oz. leadheads trolled or casted these lures
will produce the larger fish in any boil.
Good action in the morning or afternoon.
Dozens of 4 to 6 lb fish being reported caught
throughout the Winsor, crazyhorse, Havasu Landing
and Thompson bay areas. In addition, anglers are drifting cut anchovies for fish to 5-0. Many anglers have caught and released up to 100 fish per day
"Largemouth Bass"
Early AM fishing good with topwater
frogs or poppers, later day fishing
slow with dropshot (oxblood), shad pattern
ratl traps & LC pointer 78 jerk baits.
The first WON Bass team tournament
of the 2005 season will be held
on Oct. 23rd, signups will be at
Anglers Pro Shop from 5 to 7pm
