    The YETI FLW College Fishing season will continue with an event next week, Sept. 29, at the YETI FLW College Fishing on the California Delta presented by Costa. The tournament, hosted by Russo’s Marina and the Sugar Barge RV Resort, is the third and final regular-season event for college anglers in the Western Conference and will award a top prize of a $2,000 club scholarship and an invitation to compete in the 2019 College Fishing National Championship to the winners.

    FLW Tour pro Chad Grigsby of Maple Grove, Minnesota, brought another limit of smallmouth bass to the scale Friday – this one weighing 24 pounds, 4 ounces – to maintain his lead after Day Two of the FLW Tour at Lake St. Clair presented by Mercury. The 180-boat field is now cut to just the top 30, and Grigsby will start Saturday’s Day Three of competition with a slim 4-ounce lead over Costa pro Dylan Hays of Sheridan, Arkansas (49-13), who sits in second. Local ace Scott Dobson of Clarkston, Michigan is in fourth place with 10 bass totaling 46-5.

    Miles Kaneko and partner Jared De Fremery, both 16-years-old, earned the win at the FLW High School Fishing Open this past Sunday, May 13 at Konocti Vista Casino on Clear Lake. The Delta Teen Team beat out their competitors with a five-fish limit of 19 pounds, 2 ounces.
