MARK ROSE WINS LAKE TRAVIS FLW TOUR STOP
General Tire pro Mark Rose of West Memphis, Arkansas, brought a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 9 ounces to the scale Sunday to win $125,000 at the FLW Tour at Lake Travis presented by Quaker State. Rose’s four-day total of 20 bass weighing 59-2 was enough to edge second-place angler Bryan Thrift of Shelby, North Carolina, by a mere 12 ounces.

BRYAN THRIFT RECLAIMS LEAD GOING INTO FINAL DAY OF FLW TOUR ON LAKE TRAVIS
Bryan Thrift of Shelby, North Carolina, brought a five-bass limit weighing 11 pounds, 7 ounces to the scale Saturday to reclaim the lead after day three of the FLW Tour at Lake Travis presented by Quaker State. Thrift’s three-day total of 45-9 makes him the No. 1 seed on championship Sunday as the field is now cut to the final 10 anglers in the event that featured 164 of the top bass anglers in the world casting for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

JOE URIBE JR. WINS FLW SERIES WESTERN DIVISION OPENER ON HAVASU
Joe Uribe Jr. of Surprise, Arizona, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 22 pounds, 1 ounce, Saturday to claim top honors at the Costa FLW Series Western Division opener on Lake Havasu presented by Ranger Boats. Uribe’s three-day total of 15 bass weighing 51 pounds, 13 ounces, was enough to earn him $80,838, including a new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.

Roy Hawk Leads Day 1 FLW Havasu
Day one of the Costa FLW Series Western Division opener was tough for some, but in the end it still took nearly 20 pounds to take the lead. Sleeping in his own bed for this one, Roy Hawk of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., dropped 19 pounds, 7 ounces on the scale for the day one lead. In second place in the tournament, which is presented by Ranger Boats, Mike Nichelini of Napa, Calif., weighed in 18 pounds, 9 ounces and trails by less than a pound.

MINNEAPOLIS – Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) announced today the complete professional angler roster of 165 for the upcoming 2017 FLW Tour season, the 22nd season of the FLW Tour. The 2017 FLW Tour will feature seven regular-season tournaments with competition kicking off Feb. 2-5 at Lake Guntersville in Guntersville, Alabama.

MINNEAPOLIS – FLW announced today the dates and location for the 2017 FLW College Fishing National Championship and the date for the third annual FLW College Fishing Open on Kentucky Lake. The National Championship will be held May 31-June 3 on Wheeler Lake in Rogersville, Alabama, host to multiple major FLW tournaments. The annual FLW College Fishing Open will be held April 7-8 on Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Kentucky.
