Wild West Bass Trail Arizona Teams Division Holds Final Stop at Havasu
For the second time this year, the Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) will make their way to Lake Havasu. On Saturday, May 14, as many as 150 anglers will enter the final competitive event of the Arizona Teams division, vying for a qualifying spot in the yearend Arizona Team Championship two-day event to be held on Lake Mead in June.

One of the Best Comebacks in Elite Series History
Takahiro Omori won the recent Bassmaster Elite Series event on Lake Wheeler despite being in 72nd place after the first day. He had found the winning fish during practice, but for some reason they were gone during the first day of competition. He went back the second day and they were back. He proceeded to catch the three biggest limits of the event on the final three days to take the title.

Clausen Disqualification From Lake Wheeler Tournament Upheld
The disqualification of Luke Clausen of Otis Orchards, Wash., from the Bassmaster Elite Series tournament at Wheeler Lake, Alabama, last week, has been upheld by an appeals panel.Clausen was disqualified from the event on the third day of competition for violating Elite Series Rule C3, which outlines a number of restrictions on practicing and obtaining information during off-limits periods, among others.

The key for me in this tournament was fishing shallow spawning banks with sparse tules in front on shallow wood with good clean grass. When the tide was high the fish wood boil and follow the bait out but when the tide would fall and the shallow grass was exposed then they would start biting aggressively. #TBT to 2015 Delta FLW

B.A.S.S. Announces 2016 High School All-American Team
Twelve standout high school anglers from across the country have been selected as members of the exclusive 2016 Bassmaster High School All-American Fishing Team. The team will be invited to participate in a special tournament held in conjuction with GEICO Bassmaster BASSfest on Lake Texoma this June.
