BASS ZONE ANNOUNCES NEW STUDIO SHOW

Wide Open Debuts February 6, 2008

Norman, Okla. – The dawning of the 2008 professional bass fishing season is upon us, and The BASS ZONE, the leader in independent on location coverage of professional bass fishing is set to preview the season with the launch of a new studio show titled Wide Open.

BASS ZONE’s Wide Open debuted in 2007 as on location web video coverage featuring interviews with professional anglers and industry personalities, tournament previews, and post tournament analysis with BASS ZONE .com founder Mark Jeffreys and veteran tournament angler Harold, ‘The Legend’ Allen.

Wednesday February 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM central time marks the unveiling of the studio version of Wide Open. The BASS ZONE will use its unique position in the industry to bring the first independent studio show to focus on the happenings of professional bass fishing to the viewers and fans of the sport; Wide Open can be viewed only at www.basszone.com.

Wide Open will bring the viewer a glimpse into the sport that is only possible through being firmly embedded on location, as only The BASS ZONE can. Each episode will feature multiple segments covering the latest news and stories affecting the sport of professional bass fishing and the fishing industry.

The first airing of the newly enhanced Wide Open will feature two segments. The first will be Mark and ‘The Legend’s’ Bassmaster Classic Preview with Bassmaster Elite Series angler and Bassmaster Classic Qualifier Jeff Kriet of Ardmore, Okla.

The second segment will include a special guest with a major announcement for the upcoming 2008 Bassmaster Elite Series season.
