FLW OUTDOORS RADIO TO TALK FISHING, BASEBALL, GOLF

DALLAS (April 29, 2004) — This Sunday on “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas will talk with Jim Behnken of Garden Ridge, winner of the April 24-25 Wal-Mart Texas Tournament Trail event on Lake Texoma, and Wal-Mart FLW Tour pro Dan Morehead, 2003 Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year. The crew will get a baseball update from Texas Rangers pitcher Jay Powell and preview the upcoming 2004 Byron Nelson Championship with PGA pro Tommy Armour III.

Behnken – who caught a two-day total weight of 28 pounds, 3 ounces to take home $10,000, a fully rigged Ranger 519 VS Ranger boat plus $20,000 in contingency prizes – will talk about how he won his second TTT event. Morehead, who hails from Paducah, Ky., and is currently ranked 69th on the FLW Tour, will talk about the upcoming event on Kentucky Lake and how he plans to fish his home waters.

Powell, who has been in the majors for 10 years, will talk about how the Rangers are the biggest surprise in baseball right now and about New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, a former Ranger.

Armour, who is the grandson of three-time major champion Tommy Armour of Scotland and has two PGA Tour wins to his credit, will talk about the upcoming championship taking place May 10-16 at the Tournament Players and Cottonwood Valley courses at Four Seasons Resort and Club Las Colinas.
