ROCKLIN, Ca. - For those of you that haven't signed up yet...it's not too late to get in on all the fun to be had at Saturday's Future Pro Tour event at Clearlake!
Beautiful Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa in Kelseyville, will once again be our host, providing for anglers and their family members a fantastic venue which includes, a full restaurant & bar, 2 Olympic size swimming pools, full day spa with masseuse services, miniature golf, tennis courts and many more activities for your family to enjoy while you’re out on the water.
The bite at Clearlake right now is outstanding with most tournaments requiring a 30 pound bag to win, as was demonstrated by Future Pro Tour Pro-Support staff members Jerry Tilton and Wayne Brazele who won the 100% Bass event held on Clearlake last weekend.
Jerry, along with other top western pros, Bernie Gaunt, Seig Taylor, and Mark Crutcher will be on hand give tips on how to catch Clearlake bass in the early spring at the optional pre-registration seminar that will be held the day before the event (Friday) at Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa’s convention center.
During this time there will also be a free raffle for lots of premium products, and you will have a chance to meet many of our sponsors who are flying in to be part of the fun. Some of the sponsors that will be present will be Gabe Bolivar (Ranger Boats), People’s Folsom Lake General Manager, Troy Pelz, Al Grout (Sawyer Cook Insurance), Charlie Almassey (West Marine), Charlie Evans (Centennial Batteries), as well as many other special guests.
This event will again be filmed on Comcast Sports Net newest show, “Fun Fishing” as well as being covered by northern California’s #1 multi-species fishing publication The Fish Sniffer, who is offering the highest finishing Fish Sniffer subscriber a $200 cash incentive bonus!
If you can’t make it up on Friday, remember, you can also register the morning of the event at the Konocti Convention Center from 4 to 6:30 am.
