“This is the first large in-house event since ownership changed hands,” remarks Gone Fishin’ Marine’s new president, Mark Blanton. “We have made a lot of big changes over the last year, and are really excited to show everyone our progress.”
The Fishin’ Fest will begin at 9AM the morning of June 18th, with a full day of seminars from some of the best pro anglers in the area: Rich Tipton, Kevin Yost, Kent Brown, Greg Squires, and Billy Gianquinto. Throughout the weekend, shoppers can look forward to tackle and accessories markdowns ranging from 10%-30%, huge model-year-end closeouts with special financing opportunities, complimentary refreshments, and a lunchtime barbeque. Adding to the festivities will be representatives from the California Inland Fisheries Foundation, the California Striped Bass Association, and factory representatives showcasing the latest in boat, engine, electronics, and tackle technology. The Fishin’ Fest will have raffle prize drawings throughout the weekend, culminating in a chance to win a boat belonging 1140AM radio personality, Sep Hendrickson. This event promises nonstop fun for kids big and small, and an excellent opportunity to find a little something for that hard-to-shop-for Dad!
