Power Of The Bass

While attending this years Future Pro Tour classic it occured to me just how much power the bass has to brings us all together. Looking around the banquet there's a mix of young and old, seasoned and novice, and every type of angler in between. Seeing father and son combinations like Cliff and Colby king is always a reminder of what's really important in this sports we all love, not to mention the kid can flat out fish most of us. What other crowd do words like chartreuse, brush hog, and Lucky Craft inspire endless conversation. The sharing of knowledge about all thing bass is probably what makes this sport so unique. To have some of the top pros in the sport take there time to share tips and technique is just one example of this.

After nine months and several tournaments later we all arrive at clear lake for a chance to win a new boat and and some bragging rights. Congratulations to Stan Prickett and Bill Santini, you guys put together two great days of fishing and represented the central valley with class.

Special thanks to Vince Harris and the rest of the Future Pro staff for putting together a first class circuit and a even better classic. I here it will be even better next year.

See everybody next year,
