2020 FPT Classic Qualification Rules - UPDATE

Post by AnglersPress »

As most are aware, the current pandemic has required many organizations with schedules and formats (that were supposedly planted in stone), to make major adjustments in their schedules and policies.

Please know that Angler's Press Outdoors has not been exempt from adjusting schedules or from making major policy modifications, and to this end will adjust it's qualifying policy for the 2020 Future Pro Tour Classic as follows:

Prior 2020 FPT Classic qualification policy:

- Teams must fish at least 4 of 5 scheduled events to qualify
- Number of qualifiers based on average angler participation within a region.

Adjusted 2020 FPT Classic qualification policy:

- The top 60 teams with the highest points (Northern) will qualify
- The top 60 teams with the highest points (Central) will qualify
- YOU DO NOT have to fish 4 of 5 events in your region
- Simply have enough points (within your region) to make it in

Fish a "springtime" championship event on the delta!

One of the advantages of competing in a high-profile "early spring" championship event on the California delta, is that we all know what happens when the spring weather begins to creep in. Simply put, a ton of BIG females start their pre-spawning activities and aggressively begin to move up into the warming shallow areas.

And in last years event (in March on the Cal Delta) that "early spring" pattern held true, as the number of big fish brought to the scales was truly phenomenal!

So, if you love to fish the delta, for BIG money, in the early spring, your opportunity to qualify for a BIG CASH event is at hand, and you can start that road to qualification at this weekend's Lake Camanche event, where limited membership so just $10 are available!

Boyz and girls....let's get ready to rumble!
