Iron Silk line. Trying to come up with a good mono in 25lb test for buzzbait. Does the line stay up(buoyant) on top? Any responses appreciated. Thanks. D.B.COOPER

> Twenty pound Big Game does just fine. Tough on abrasions, easy to cast, enough stretch and shock absorbtion to handle any buzzbait fish. And it isn't flouro or some weird high tech line that wants to sink, snap, or catch up on some berries.

Call me old fashioned, but there are some good things about mono.

Iron Silk is a very odd line, it looks and feels like nothing else out there. It's got decent sensativity, and worked well with cranks, buzzbaits, Jitterbugs and Spooks. But I found after about 5 trips out on the river with it, the line seemed to break down and I was having numerous break offs. I'd have to peel off 3-6 feet to get rid of the bad section. I have a number of 17# sample spools yer more han welcome ta try. Maybe it ill work for you.
