CALCUTTA CONQUEST 301-F Boat Fishing Reel

Postby Mike H » Sun Nov 14, 2010 10:07 am

I know that the Calcutta Conquest is a JDM version but seeing how they dont offer the Calcutta TE 300 in a lefty I'm considering getting a Calcutta Conquest 301-F, Boat Fishing Reel and I was wondering if anyone can give me the scoop on the reel.

Thanks
Mike Holbrook

I answered your PM about this reel. My opinion is to get a Curado 301E. Same line capacity as the CTE 300, more cranking power, same drag pressure, casts just as well, smaller in your hand, less expensive, more bearings, etc; The other option is the Calcutta TE 401. A little wider than the 300, but not enough to make if feel awkward.

We do not stock parts for the Japanese model reels and we do not cover them under our warranty.
