On Saturday, the mandatory tournament briefing begins before launch. Meeting, launch and weigh-in times will be posted soon.
Competitors can fish in the Open only, or in the Open and for State Team. State Team competitors earn points that will ultimately decide the 2022 California B.A.S.S. Nation State Team. State Team competitors must be members in good standing in a California B.A.S.S. Nation-affiliated club. If you would like to be a State Team competitor but do not currently have a club, call Kenneth Cleveland at 661-304-3994.
Boater/Nonboater random draws will take place and will be announced the day before each competition day.
Payouts: The main entry fee, less the mandatory $15 insurance fee for non-member Open competitors, pays out 70%. Entry fees include Combined Weight and Big Bass pots. Each day, the two boats with the highest combined weight win cash prizes. The boater and the nonboater who weigh in the biggest fish each day win a cash prize. The basic entry for competitors pays out to three places at the end of the tournament for a field up to 20, and then pays an additional spot for every five boats over 20. The option pays out 100% and pays to the Top 3 in the option at the end of the tournament. The entry fee for the State Team is paid 100% toward the State Team fund.
