I’m trying to figure out what the current lake levels are in Feet of lakes I fish .. For adjusting the foot level on my navionics map what’s the formula using the DWR lake levels ... along with depth high lights for depths I want to fish how is this done??? On the navionics map it goes from -150 to 0 to plus 48 feet ?? Is 0 what the lake is at Full capacity .. thanks if anyone could help me out with this i’d appreciate it

Hello there.. The Navionics info is based on the lakes Full pool level in which on the Navionics App would be considered 0’ on the water level adjustment.. Before I hit the lake I’ll google the lakes water level, doing this will tell you the full level and the actual to date water level then you can subtract the 2 levels and make the proper adjustment on the app..here’s an example of Lake Shasta..

The easiest way is to use the data that Travis provided then go into your chart plotter (fish finder) and adjust the water level. You can also do this with the Navionics app, which also allows for fishing ranges depth coloring.

In the app, click map options and then water levels:

Ok Travis so on the navionics map I would put negative 97??? An that’s my current water level??

So take Eastman lake for example it says it’s 57 feet above full and the number only goes to 48 I think what do you do then?? I was there this last weekend and it looked really low compared to the numbers they are showing me

Yes sir, you would set your water level adjustment to -97’ and you will watch the lake parameter drop instantly.
