converting old usr file to HDS-8

Is there a way to convert an older usr file containing my waypoints so that a HDS-8 can upload them. I downloaded the information from my X-15 to an SD card but when I go to upload on the HDS-8 I get an error message saying version 0.0 cannot be used.

Problem solved! Old x-15 cannot write to a newer 1 GB SD card. Looks like it does, but it doesn't. Inserted old 16 MB card and it downloaded fine. But then found HDS-8 won't recognize the 16 MB card so had to copy the USR file to my computer then copy back to 1 GB card. HDS-8 then read it fine and alll my old waypoints are now uploaded. I am one happy camper.
