diesel smog in 2010

just received confirmation through the state that starting in Jan. 2010
all 98-present diesel trucks under 14000 lbs will be smogged in Ca.
it is only a computer and parts check.meaning,programmers and hop up parts will be cause for failure.unless the parts have a C.A.R.B #
on them.

just like how you have to smog cars and trucks that run on gas,you will now have to smog ones that run on diesel.trucks and cars.heavy duty vans and cars like the volkswagon jetta turbo diesel are some.
as long as you havent messed with anything and there isnt excessive smog coming form the tail pipe everything should pass.
