Elite 12ti cursor issue

Hey WB friends-
I bought an Elite 12ti about 2 years ago. It worked great until just recently. During the last few trips the unit seems to malfunction. Everytime I now go out, about an hour or 2 into fishing the cursor comes on, changes depths and beeps with every depth change. Attempts at clearing the cursor does not work. I have to turn the unit off for a while. When I turn it back on it will work again for a short period of time then the cursor issue starts again. I'm just wondering if this is a problem with the unit or transducer.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated....Tight lines.
