Exporting Waypoints

Re: Exporting Waypoints
When exporting way point files. Is it making a copy of those files on the SD card or cutting them off current location? I want to make a copy for my front graphs but dont want to delete them off console.

Re: Exporting Waypoints
Jeff, if you have access to an Ethernet cable, connect it to the console unit and lay it across the deck up front to the HDS unit at the bow and connect the Ethernet cable to the back of that unit. Now, turn both units on and they will share all Waypoints with each other.
If you have some on the console unit that are not on the unit at the bow for example, both units will display all Waypoints that have been saved.
If you save the Waypoints to a card, this is a copy of the Waypoints and the original Waypoints are still on the HDS unit.
