Kicked out of Konocti Vista Casino
Kicked out of Konocti Vista Casino
I am the director of a small bass club and I had planned on hosting a tournament there 10-20 boats, after I had received my permit from fish and wildlife I called Konocti to try to set up their “fisherman discount” when they told me that my club as well as another that would be there the same weekend we’re not welcomed due to them opening a hotel patio tiki bar that weekend. So needless to say I had to change my permit with California fish and wildlife and cancel my hotel reservation. They don’t want fisherman there... well there won’t be fisherman there!!!

What were the dates of your club event that you wanted to have at KVC.....

Same with the club that I fish. Called to block out rooms like we done for the last twenty years. New management said they don't want us there. I guess they forgot who supported them when their casino was an oversized tent. LOL..... oh well we will take our business else where. Saves me money. No more gambling at night!!!!!
Re: Kicked out of Konocti Vista Casino
As many of you know, Konocti Vista Casino has been a large supporter of Westernbass and a supporter for many bass fishing organizations big and small. They have conducted many tournaments at their facilities for years.
They have never said anyone can’t have an event there. All they are saying is Memorial Day is one of the resort's biggest holidays, (I would guess July 4th and Labor day would also qualify) and they have already planned their own events for that weekend and probably the other major summer holidays.
Many resorts have planned events for major holidays and have blacked out special deals or discounts during those periods.
