LA GRANGE, CA. - On Oct 14th, all eyes will turn to Lake McClure, one of the central valley's premier fisheries, as Coors Light FPT anglers fishing that region, will make a final stand in the last event of the 2017 season.
Because of low water conditions, Lake McClure has been off the FPT's radar and schedule since 2013.
But now as the lake's water levels have returned to normal, the FPT's legion of central valley anglers are eager to get re-acquianted with the clear deep-water impoundment, and "get at" the quality spotted bass it is famous for.
If your'e a central region team that's sitting close to or outside of the qualifying bubble for the 2017 Coors Light FPT Classic, then you do not want to miss out on this event, as this is your last chance to get the points necessary to qualify for the big championship event that takes place the 1st weekend of March 2018 at New Melones and Pardee reserviors.
And for those of you who have always wanted to try out the FPT, this event provides you with the perfect opportunity to do so as limited memberships of just $10 will be available at the 4:00am registration at Barrett's Cove Marina.
See you there!
