Lake Oroville bass

Post by Inland fisheries advocate »

I miss Tom's weekly reports on Oroville so here is mine for Sunday. Fished about 4hrs. Caught about 12 bass, mostly on wacky senkos & drop shot white paddle tale grub. Mostly in back of coves & some rocky walls..

Not on fire..but water clarity is decent... nelsen

Yea thanks for reminding us about Oroville. What ever happened to that Bass Rustler's(?) annual fund raising tourney where proceeds were used to stock Florida strain largemouth? It could use an annual influx of big bass genes. Don Railey?

Heard a huge largie was caught there recently. Is that true?

This is senko time, toss them everywhere. Should be able to pick up many 15" plus fish this time of year. Just bought rod, reel, tackle, small 14 ft boat next week!!!

My buddy caught a 9.99 yesterday evening fishing the main lake on Oroville. He and his wife were out trying topwater, it didn’t work and he caught the toad on a jig in 4’ of water.
