I wouldn't say I am kicking butt.. but, I am finally catching them a little better. There are so many good anglers up here it's just nice to be in the money every once in a while.

Here it is. I am working may tail off selling boats from 6am to 6pm and you guys come out of the woodwork in the middle of the day and start a Legend Law firm.

Great to hear from you all, sorry I missed it.

Now, Get a Job!!!!!!!

Tommy and Mike, save it for the Bass Boat Shootout in September and we can put some BIG money on it.

Well Frank - we are working our tails off so you can sell some boats.. You have an easy job... these boats sell themselves! :)

Its a simple equation really

Ride in a Legend = buy a Legend... Anyone who has driven one of these boats knows that it is a very buyable boat. The boats rock and once someone drives one in big water they'll understand.

I liked it so much, I borrowed your banner for my signature line.

I feel dumber after reading all this. I got a plan. Phua, mitch, and i in mikes boat. Tom, hollywood, and jaime in one of theirs. First we will race. We got way more weight and we will still walk. Then we fish. I dont think i need to get into what will happen there. Then we will take u guys out for some sushi, so hollywood feels at home, and we will woop you at that too.

If by some chance, this tourney inside of a tourney ended up in a virtual Tie, I think it should settled at the nearest Golf Course.

Sorry Jim -- Missed all those posts... Been playing on the AC website.. made it so you can click on a name and bring up all that person's tournament results for the year.

I can't stand down either... especially when I really believe in something --- and I believe in my Legend even more so today! Last night there were 3 or 4 boats that couldn't get back from the south end of Clear Lake... I did it in just over 10 minutes...

From Anderson Island to County park at 50 Mph.... THAT IS WHY I LOVE MY LEGEND! Literally flew past 3 or 4 boats on the way!

Same here I am a lot better golfer than I am a fisherman.

I miss it a bit.. been playing a little bit lately. Suprisingly hitting the ball pretty well, but not putting very well... same ole story!

As for the Pepsi Tour... yep, they have a few events up here from time to time.

PepsiTour.com if I remember correctly.

Yes Mime absolutely true BUT

Post by Jim Conlow Sr. »

He who can handle the rough water the best at perhaps a little better speed, will perhaps increase the time that he keeps his bait wet and therefore perhaps catch that kicker fish during the perhaps extra 10 minutes that he can spend at his honey hole.

A great boat can make great fishermen such as yourself even greater.

Your boat is a tool just like your rods reels and baits are. If the skill level is equal, then he who has the better tools is more likely to come out ahead. And a better boat may just get you a win over better compitition because it gives you more time to fish.

Just remember that the Bassmasters classic has been won in the last four minutes.

Dewayne: I think I figured it out !!!!!!!!!...........

Post by Jeff Huth »

I feel for ya bud, going into a tournament at such a disadvantage is tough, but do me a favor.I got a theory, after reading the guys post above when he stated "Last night there were 3 or 4 boats that couldn't get back from the south end of Clear Lake...I did it in just over 10 minutes...Anderson Island to County Park at 50 mph..,literally flew past 3 or 4 boats on the way".Check this out;when these boats are flying by you, check and see if any of the boat is in the water, I'll bet you are going to see nothing but air underneath the boats.Remember Maxwell Smart had all the trick stuff, the cone of silence, the shoe phone etc.etc, I'll bet when you look in these boats they have a "Majic Carpet Switch",MCS for short. How else can you exsplain how you can "literally fly by 3 or 4 boats", I'll bet you it's a MCS switch.
I'm gonna call Kim, and have her put it in my new Z........
Best of luck there, sounds like your gonna need it.

Is there anything Dog and Pony about just advising

Post by Jim Conlow Sr. »

Is it Dog and pony to advise a test drive before buying?

Is it dog and Pony to point out that all other things being equal the guy who can keep his bait wet the longest perhaps has an advantage?

I thought that this forum was for the trading of fishing methods and to help those who may not know that there are alternatives to what they might be currently doing.

I for instance have always been partial to Loomis rods. But now that Gary has a line that he reccommends I would like to try a couple of his rods to see if I like them better.

I think you are passing out some sour grapes attitude.

I had opportunities to be sponsored by other boats. John Hoagland, Vice President of Mercury and Forrest Wood both asked me if I needed a boat sponsor when I was driving my 2000 Hawk.

i selected Legend because fot me it is the best. That of course doesent mean that it is best for everyone. What all of us Legend owners are doing is encouraging people to test drive, so that they can make an educated, intelligent choice

You can say thay have not delaminated all you want but like I said before. I Personally towed a Guy in With 3 splits (along the Keel and folded). This was his second hull problem and he is a Texas Pro staffer. His room mate was driving a Factory demo because his was also getting transom repairs. That is the truth, and like I said the first time. I have no peronal problem with Legend their a nice boat. But there definatly not as great as you make them out to be.
Why did you have to tow him in ... surely not because of a split hull ?

Hey Stickbait, I had to tow him because of the amount of water in the boat. He went to get on pad and the water rushed back and shorted the batteries ETC. But apperantly this never happend or never will with a Legend, I guess I was dreaming!!!
