Might have Tuesday free from work....anyone been on LBC in the recent past? It's the "lake I Love to HATE"...but I've caught decent fish over the years (P.B. 7lbs. plus during a past January...on of all things, a Wood Chopper)...Could be a jig/swim bait type of day...although could also a suspending rip bait day ...any one have any suggestions or comments...thanks Surfk9

Don't get there early, they are now doing clean/dry inspections and I don't think they are there at o dark thirty. They also close the lake early when they go home. Maybe someone else who has been there or to the big lake of forebay can say when they start the inspections.

No problem on the "clean & dry" Turkeyman....have my band ...I fish the Big Lake, The Forebay and LBC...haven't been to LBC this year..fished The Forebay Saturday for one 20" on a big crank bait...thanks for the info...Surfk9 ***Inspections begin at 6 am...park closes at 6pm.

Fished LBC today....had three fish this is the largest about 3lbs.plus on a Lucky Craft Stayesse rippin the rocks...had two others about 2-21/2 lbs....good day overall...three bites three fish...only five boats on the water everyone else fishin soft plastics not much catchin' though...if you click on the pic it will enlarge

Are they still not dumping trout in the LBC this year?

Checked in with State Parks.....nada, no way, not happening on the trout plants!!!...There are still some hold overs (they haven't all been eaten or caught ) talked to a couple long liners last time out who were trolling, said they had been catching some...amazing there are still some ...it's been awhile since last plantings, 3-5 years I would guess??? We will probably not see trout plants in the near future...just have to throw imitations...

i love this lake and going there in a couple of weeks.....been at the forebay lately searching for those stripers....hey Turkey man how you doing ?
