Lowrance HDS 12 Gen 2 question

Looking for help. I have a 2016 Ranger 521C that came with a HDS9 Gen 2 at the dash, and an HDS7 Gen 2 at the bow and they are linked. I bought a used HDS 12 Gen 2 to replace the 7 at the bow after hooking it up it wont read depth off of TM. TM is the 112# Fortrex but it will show info from dash HDS9. The HDS7 still reads from the TM. Is it a simple reset or what am I missing? Thanks for any help.

Probably the setting that needs changing is your transducer type. Change the transducer selection to U2, US2 and that should fix you up. SONAR/INSTALLATION/TRANSDUCER TYPE

I went into the list and the U2, US2 dont exist. The HDS9 was set on unknown and it still works also checked the 7 and it was set on unknown as well. Can I add transducer types in my list of selections?
