Lowrance Hook 7 Power Issues

I’ve had my Hook 7 for quite some time now. I disconnect it for storage after every trip. The past several times I’ve connected the power wire to the unit, it refuses to power on. Time before last I wiggled the plastic connectors and the unit finally came on. This last fishing escapade, however, wiggling the power wire did nothing. The only way I was able to get the unit to finally power on was to push the plastic connectors over to the side and zip tie it to the mounting bracket. This puts tremendous stress on the connector though so I’m wondering if there’s another fix anyone might know of. Thank you in advance for your help.

You say ‘connectors’. Please take any strain away from the transducer cable as it has nothing to do startup. I would get a replacement power cable.
