There were 14 teams. WON BASS pays 1 in 5 teams. I elected to pay 3 places, all in cash even though we were just short of the 15 teams needed. There was also a full discousure board at the tournament. We post every weigh-in slip on a board. We will be using this board in the SoCal, Casitas, and Casitas night events for the rest of the 2012 season. It shows what each and every angler paid to enter the tournament. This board allows the anglers to walk up and count out every dollar that was paid at the morning sign-in. This allows anglers to count for themselves how many teams entered the $35 big fish option. This allows every angler to count how many teams entered the $100 SoCal Super Option. This way the angler knows just how much they will win for big fish before I even announce it at the awards ceremony. The SoCal Super Option pays the top 3 places. Anglers can read the board and know what they will win for the SoCal Super Option before I even start the awards ceramony. This will make it easy for every angler to know who is in what option, and how much each team paid at every tounament.
