In the spring time I make them in 1/32oz Spotted bass mini Puffball Jigs In Round head and use 1"curly tail grubs and spinning outfit MH 6'6" with 6lbs test line. The Word is FUN

One thing that had not been mentioned on this post about boat pricing is that boats are Petroleum products and as the price of gas has gone up so have the production costs of Resin, fiberglass, acetone and all the products used to build a new one. Same with Aluminum as most Aluminum comes from China and we all know they have no issue ripping us off. Ya new boats cost more than 3 years ago and there have been plenty sold over the last 2-3 years which has generated a good supply of late model used ones. Most high dollar new Bassboats we sell now have 2-4 pieces of Electronics, a spot lock T Motor, Lithium Batteries ect and that has really driven up the pricing also. I have been a dealer for 42 years and cant remember the prices ever coming down year to year. Buy what you can afford and get the biggest boat you can as there is no substitute for length. My 02. 100% correct RickG it's the same in the Lure manufacturing business also. Everything has gone up in some cases 15% to 20% for some materials and components and hooks depending on what your order.
