Tungston Weights
Tungston Weights
Has anyone seen or used these new colored weights? Who makes them? Are they painted? I tried painting some, but nothing will stick.

You can get the paint to stick fine if you place the weight in the oven at 200-225 for 30-45 minutes after painting. I threaded Excalibur weights on a stripped piece of copper wire that doubled as a stand to keep them from touching anything. I painted them with black Du-Pont or Plasticoat(I'm not where I have the paint). it worked very well and the plastic inserts were not hurt one bit.
